Description
This Seven Sorrows Chaplet was designed specifically for you to pray with during Lent—a time when we more closely contemplate Our Lady’s sorrows as we prepare to remember Christ’s Passion. The prayer offers us such a wonderful opportunity to walk beside Our Blessed Mother in the pain she felt as an earthly mother.
This chaplet is made of perfectly Lenten purple glass pearls, with shimmery clear glass beads to space each one. All beads are wire-strung by hand, which makes them less likely to tangle and break like chain rosaries. Each of the fine quality, entirely Italian-made medals features an image of Our Lady of Sorrows on one side, with one of her seven sorrows on the other side.
You can learn more about the devotion and how to pray it here.
This devotion can hold special meaning for women carrying the cross of infertility. I have worked with Kathryn at The Joyful Leap to offer this chaplet along with her devotional book. You can get that here.

I absolutely love designing custom pieces and do not charge a custom fee for design. Please message me if there is something you love about this design that you would like to incorporate into a custom design. Please read the Shop Policies for more information.
If you see that an item is available on backorder, that simply means that the rosary pictured has been sold, yet I can likely make it again. This may take a few more days in the case that I may need to order parts, but rest assured that I will be contacting you on that process. If we find ourselves in the rare case that I do not have the parts on hand and cannot find more to order (likely because the beads or medals used were discontinued by my suppliers, and also cannot find through other suppliers [I do search high and low for parts!]), we can look at similarly beautiful options or you may request a full refund.
All orders being shipped in the domestic US include FREE standard shipping. If you are having any trouble with shipping charges, please contact me here.
I joyfully and prayerfully design and hand-string each rosary here. All of my rosaries and wire-strung which makes them unlikely to tangle and break like traditional chain rosaries. These rosaries are NOT blessed. However, you may bring yours to your priest and ask him to bless it for you if you wish.
Morning Glory Beads was founded upon a passionate devotion to Our Blessed Mother and upon St. Peter Faber’s vision of business — a way to support our families, alleviate poverty in our communities, and joyfully serve others through our talents. Thus, all sales are tithed and returned to Catholic families and ministries. You can follow this in our newsletter. Sign up at the right or at the bottom of this page.
I am honored that you’re here. Thank you for shopping small and catholic. And please, pray the rosary.
